Hi MoM 🙂
Offhand, do you know if there’s anything in there that could counter that whole “god particle” fad? (As in alternate, more grounded science) Or anything that relates to it… That’s such an annoying little issue. Sorry if my question has nothing to do with this at all, but just wondering.

Sorry friend. I have only just begun reading the book my self. I have copied the whole thing and made it into a pdf file, so that i don’t have to read it online. PM me if you would like the pdf file; its much better.

As for the God particle. What is it about the God particle that troubles you the most?

God particle? Wasn’t that from Angels and Demons? If people are actually believing this it just shows how in many people, reason to believe is taking backstage to motivation to believe.

That’s what the massive particle accelerator in Europe is trying to find… that’s the pop culture name for it, the more official name is the Higgs boson particle. Here’s a wikipedia on it but it’s still hard to understand… en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Higgs_boson From what I gather this is some scientist’s attempt to decry God as the creator of the universe and say that it’s this type of particle, which can supposedly create mass.
