Like I’ve said before, the more you write, the more you make my points…

Marriage is not forbidden anywhwere in the Church as doctrine. Maronite Rite Catholic Priests are married. Celibacy of the Roman Rite Priesthood is a custom. Please read what St. Paul wrote about celibacy in Scriptures. If you want to become married, you are welcome to, but you will choose the sacrament of marriage and not enroll in the priesthood.

The Catholic Church doesn’t create saints as in deciding who gets into Heaven. The Church works diligently to determine what God has done.

The Catholic Church accepts what God has done with Mary. That you deny this is to your own detriment. However, you don’t understand even what the Catholic Church really teaches here either.

There is no doctrine of the Catholic Church in conflict with either the written word (as delivered to the world by the Catholic Church) nor Godly Tradition. There is no teaching of the Catholic Church that is in error in any way.

God may be upset with Catholics, but it is simply due to behaviors, not teachings. God is likewise upset with non-Catholics for behaviors as well… but also with non-Catholics’ false teachings.

You are not qualified to detect errors, because you do not know the truth of doctrine and Sacraments. That you call the Catholic Church the things you do, simply means that you are on the wrong side, not knowing true doctrine and false. What you really are saying is that by your own reading, you disagree with the Church, but this is simply ignorance. I ask you to please listen to those who Christ sent, or you will continue to reject Christ as well.
🙂 This is pointless! We are forbidden by the Word, to call any man on earth [spiritual] Father. Priests were ‘anointed by God’ not man. The list goes on and on. False prophets change the Word in order to deviate from it. So long!!!🤷

Yes, you can read, but once again don’t understand what it means.

There is nothing at all wrong with calling your dad “father”, calling a priest “father” calling the pope “father”… as long as you don’t somehow forget your ultimate and real Father in Heaven, diminishing the role of God. However, the priest and pope are not acting instead of, but because of God, spreading His word without error and giving us the Sacraments. They are not acting instead of God, but because of God. Christ was using hyperbole with the scribes and Pharisees how sinful and proud they were for not looking humbly to God as the source of all authority.

In fact, the role of Prime Minister of the Church is like the role of Prime Miinister in the OT discussed in Isaiah 22:21-25… “and he shall be as a father to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and to the house of Juda.”

The priesthood is of God. The full office of Bishop is the successor of the Apostles. God established this. How else could we continue the things Christ commanded, like the Eucharist…

It’s simply like I said before, your own errant interpretations of the written word keep you from the truth… and therefore out of ignorance you condemn that which you do not understand.

I don’t view it as pointless to teach truth, even to someone like you who appears to have no willingness now to listen.

Best of fortune to you . I hope you will stop rejecting Christ by rejecting those whom Christ sent for all of us.

This is a key point… one needs to look at the health of the person who wrote such a thing. It certainly was not of God.
I have read a book, ‘Understanding muhammad, A Psychobiography’ by Ali Sina (an ex-muslim who writes for faithfreedom and has many articles in answering-islam). It goes into this and more.

Now, I will caution you that in bringing up some of his illnesses brings offense to some on these threads because they don’t realize that in 7th century Arabia - or anywhere on this earth - there were no medications to help mohammed like they have now. But, I find it useless to discuss with them any further since they have not read the book and wouldn’t read any of the websites and I don’t want to offend them either. Ali Sina backs his assertions up in the book.

And I have read elsewhere by different authors the same conclusions on some of the mental problems that mohammed had.

One is obvious - his hatred of women. To a child it is not understood why a mother would leave him - even if she died and had no control over that. But, mohammed was given to a wet nurse (which was common in those days) and the wet nurse handed him back due to ‘fits’. And then his mother died a few years later. His father died before he was born. It doesn’t really say how he was treated by the women in his life. But, it seems that he hated his mother so bad he had problems years later in honoring her grave.

And there are probably some of those problems that manifested in mohammed when he married a woman 15 years his senior and then later in life when he raped slaves (some were children), married a child, and piled up wives as he did slaves (well, he had more slaves than wives). And him denigrating them forevermore by his words and deeds for his followers to emulate.

I have even read some book on psychopathy, but I don’t think he was a real psychopath since he was bothered by jinns, bad dreams and what he called Satan later in his life.

mohammed
we find Muhammad anxious and afraid. He lived in constant fear, because he had caused the death of so many innocent victims in war and had asked his followers to help him get rid anyone who he thought was his enemies.
Whoever kills another person may dream that the spirits of the murdered victim follow him. Muhammad felt the influences of evil. He looked at many things created by God with fear because they looked evil to him. Muhammad was fearful.
Muhammad was afraid of the night and what dwelled in it. He was afraid of sorcerers and women who tried to influence others by making knots and blowing on them. Muhammad felt the power of evil spirits as one who had become envious. His fear is often found in the Qur’an and climaxes in deep terror of Allah.
How different from Muhammad is our Lord Jesus who said “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid” ( John 14:27). Muhammad had no personal peace. He was an affrighted man, torn in his heart, desperate and unhappy. In the depth of his soul he was fearful of the night and sorcerers. He was especially afraid of envy. From every side, he saw himself under attack. We notice this in the last Sura of the Qur’an, an-Nas 114:1-5.
Much of this is why I don’t think he saw any angel - Gabriel or Lucifer. I think that mohammed was like some of the men our own 20th Century have witnessed - including some of them in this century - Hitler, Stalin, Ahmadinejad, etc. And this is why I continually ask, or state, such things like there will always be men (and women - but mostly men) like this who will do terrible things - we should question the ones who follow these sorts. Why would seemingly normal people allow this to happen and follow them blindly. Take Stalin for example - more Russians were killed by their own fellow Russians just following Stalin! The same with Mao. Or look at the German people - look how they allowed a beast to rule.

This is why I don’t see an end to these types. I see in our own times how easy it is for good men to do nothing, other men to just set aside goodness and follow such creeps. It is the story of our own human race.

I have often wondered what it is about the human psyche that needs these types. Perhaps Lee Harris answers it in his article on fantasy ideologies.

Thanks for the article - I will indeed read it.

I will say that I have read the ‘Art of War’ which the first line eludes to one of its elements.

And I love military tactics (our own military doesn’t see the stealth jihad - they are too focused on military types of scenarios - bombs, guns, defense/offense, etc) and our government leaders are even more stupid worrying more about votes and power. Too much political correctness in even our military’ Pentagon.

The muslims are the ones who have declared war on us - and yes, I use muslims. It is in their koran. And the violent ones openly declared war on us a few decades ago while the so called ‘peaceful’ ones support them via muslim charities and moral support (their rioting/protesting when the violent ones are hit back by their victims, or in the case of 9/11 all the dancing and ulalating), and misinforming us of what the koran and islam is all about, etc.

Anyway, I could go on a tangent so I will stop.
