Sorry.

But I do not take anything that comes from Sungenis or his group as particularly credible these days.

I have always looked for nihil obstat and imprimatur approvals as a way to determine if a book is ok. My NAB has these and does not have a section on “how to read the bible” as indicated on the website you gave.

**Censor’s stamp: **
NIHIL OBSTAT

"nothing stands in the way"
**Bishop’s stamp: **
IMPRIMATUR

"let it be printed"

I find, like Jeff Cavins, Dr. Scott Hahn, Fr. Fessio, S.J., Fr. Mitch Pacwa, S.J., and others that the NAB is an OK bible for Catholics, but not the best translation and certainly based on its inclusive language not recommended for the easily swayed. I recommend, as do the good men mentioned above, that the better translation is the RSVCE.

But, in the end, if you are reading and meditating on the NAB version of the Holy Bible, well, then life is good and apparently so is that translation… for you at least. A good translation is the one you read, however that does not make it the most accurate, or the best.
