“I saw a video recently of a young boy all dressed in drag from head to toe. He sashayed his little boy body onto the television studio stage amidst the wild applause of … a room full of parents. It was a famous morning talk show, and the celebrity hosts were gushing over this child-drag queen, without the slightest hesitation or reservation at all. He’s being hailed as a “trailblazer.””

As I’ve posted before, Anthony the great a desert Father, said something very much like
“One day men will be mad, and they will attack you saying “you are not like us, you are mad!””

May God have mercy on the people allowing and encouraging this horror.

But I will also say, that these people have the responsibility to fix the child they broke.

Will the people who are now so celebrating this child still celebrate this child when he decides that he’s had enough dressing up?

Will the people who are celebrating this child also celebrate another boy who wants to dress as a boy? If not, why? Aren’t they celebrating Desmond’s choice to be himself? Or is he only worth celebrating if he dresses in drag?

Are the people who are celebrating Desmond’s dress up celebrating Desmond, or celebrating a boy who plays in drag?

I’m afraid that day is already upon us. It’s not just the incident reported in this thread. It’s that and a thousand other things. Really, sanity can literally get you attacked in this day and age.

Why, gushing, why wild applause, trailblazer in what way?

This seems to me to be about rebellion, about celebrating the freedom to be whatever people may want to be, shaking off the seeming shackles of religion, of societal norms and all moral restrictions from wherever they may come. They are celebrating the drive to unrestricted individualism, the conquering of innate natural laws. Hedonism and instant gratification. Simultaneously though they are taking off the cloak of civilisation, of decent public behaviour and removing the structures which have nurtured mankind and served to protect us from our worst excesses in the past imo.

It may be part of a cycle which seems to recur, the building of a civilisation and then decline which has been oft repeated. And I’d say that it’s a lot easier to destroy than it is to create in my experience. I’d also say that I think the monkey finds homogeneity boring and so it doesn’t surprise me that these changes occur frequently. Chaos is also a product of the enemy’s involvement too.

God has given us the opportunity to rise above our base state, develop our spirits and join Him as co creators following the resurrection. I don’t think He will want monkeys running amok in the new Eden and I think the day of reckoning can’t be far away.

  1. Bad times make strong men (pre-WW2)
  2. Strong men make good times (post-WW2)
  3. Good times make weak men (60s-70s)
  4. Weak men make bad times (today)
  5. Go back to 1
