Just found the Newsmax Channel. The documentary “The Iron Fist: Dictators of the Twentieth Century” was pretty good.

Just wondering about this channel: what is their news coverage like? What about their other programs? Clean? Intelligent? Leftish? Rightish?

It has been carried by direct tv in our area for several months now.
I have watched it a few times. They have some good documentaries.
Eight Days That Changed the World about JPII was on. I did not watch it all the way through. The news has been so depressing the past year that I usually get my news from FOX or the internet. I believe Newsmax is on the conservative side.

I get Cox Cable which doesn’t carry it (yet).

Q: When will Cox start offering the new Newsmax channel? I also have Direct TV but not on all the TV’s in my home and office. Direct TV now offers it but I cannot find it on Cox.

A: (from another forurm member): Cox doesn’t carry it for the same reason Comcast Cable, Cablevision, Charter Communications, Verizon FiOS, Time Warner Cable, AT&T Uverse, Brighthouse Cable, and 100s of smaller cable companies don’t carry it: Lack of demand and shortage of bandwidth, plus the cost of adding the channel. NO MORE NEWS CHANNELS…OK?
