It’s my understanding that the only historical events in Jesus’ life on which historians generally agree are that Jesus existed, that he was baptized by John the Baptist, and that between 1 and 3 years later he was crucified by order of Pontius Pilate. Therefore, the historicity of the Resurrection is disputed.
Except you cannot scientifically prove that the resurrection happened. You can only prove that Christians believed in the resurrection from the beginning. And that’s good enough for me.
