The perfect summer day

Everyone likely has images of what they might consider “the perfect day” for any season, for any occasion. While my wife, who is from California, would vehemently disagree with my choice of day within which I feel most comfortable in every sense, if I were to select a day I could live in forever it would be the one below. Waking up to sunshine and warmth I find extremely depressing. Give me cloud, rain, cold, wind, and darkness, and I am in paradise.

I’d love to know where it is myself. Somewhere in the UK according to the “uk rainy days” image search I did. It’s currently my desktop background as well.
 
Yes, it definitely has that look. The U.K. is rich in stone houses. They are my dream home. Lots of stone houses in PA too. But very expensive. 😡
 
That looks like a great day. I really like it when it rains. I would much rather be taking a walk in the rain with an umbrella than walking, jogging, or biking in the sun.
 
Whoa! I hate when that happens. Had that once when we first moved here. Flattened a bunch of houses in the next town, 7 miles away.
