I would be grateful if you can help me resolve this dilemma in my head which is kind of in a way being an obstacle in my relationship with Christ.
Since all men are part of the Church which in sacred scripture is often portrayed as the bride of Christ, the Bridegroom, our eternal destiny involves marriage with Christ.I am struggling to reconcile the fact that as men,how can we be married to Christ, who though God is also fully human and a man, such high degree of intimacy between two men is hard to not be seen dare I say,a homosexual union?

I’ll let someone more versed in the theology of the Church answer you more completely, but let me just start by saying that you are thinking about this too much on the physical plain.

There is no having sex in heaven. You will not be physically intimate with your spouse or with Christ in heaven.

Our union with the Holy Trinity will be a depth and completeness we cannot fathom in this life.

There are about 1800 queries on this same issue all over the Internet. Apparently it bothers a lot of men. I find it a bit weird that men would think so literally about it because as a woman, I don’t think I’ve ever had a sexual thought about Christ despite him being a man and me being a woman. Christ is just sort of beyond that stuff.

As Gertabelle said, we don’t have sex in Heaven and are not sexual beings there, so love for Christ is just sort of like the ultimate buddy picture.

Think of how Peter loved Christ, how John loved Christ. They weren’t loving him in a sexual way. But they loved him a lot.
