I have a question regarding the Holy Eucharist in the Tabernacle.

We are a military family going to a Navy Chapel for Mass. I have found it interesting to find out that the Eucharist was left in the Tabernacle during the Protestant service. Now I’m not too sure how I feel about that for many reasons. Is it a good thing or a bad thing? What about the respect that should be shown to Jesus present in the Eucharist? As Catholics believe that the bread and wine are changed in the concretion, I’m not sure how to address it, or if I even should. Am I being nit-picky, or is this a legitimate concern that needs to be addressed?

It should’ve been removed, since we can’t expect Protestants to give it the respect it deserves. (Even most Catholics don’t from my observation.)

well that was my first thought… then I thought well won’t they get grace too from being in the Presents of Jesus in the Eucharist.

Thanks for the help.
