VATICAN CITY, MAY 1, 2007 (VIS) - Pope Benedict’s general prayer intention for May is: “That, following the example of the Virgin Mary, all Christians should allow themselves to be guided by the Word of God and always remain attentive to the signs of the Lord in their own lives.”

His mission intention is: “That in mission territories there may be no lack of good and enlightened teachers in the major seminaries and in the institutes of consecrated life.”

Pope Benedict XVI’s May prayer intention: “That good and enlightened formation staff for Major Seminaries and Institutes of Consecrated Life may never be lacking in mission territories”. Comment by Fr. Vito Del Prete, PIME, Pontifical Missionary Union secretary general

Vatican City (Fides Service) - A scarcity of vocations to the priesthood and the consecrated life in the older Churches is compensated by a flourishing of the former in the young Churches in mission territories. Hundreds and hundreds of young people …

I pray to God for the Pope’s intentions that they may be manifest. May God accept all of our prayers and intentions.
Amen:gopray2: :crossrc::highprayer:

I agree with the Holy Father. It is so vital that young & old alike (of the female sex exspecially) have our Lord’s Mother as an example & guide for what a “Bride of Christ” should be like. She should be Kept, Holy, Pure, a woman of Virtue, Piety, Fidelity, Virgin like, modest, humble, meek, and her head spiritually covered…exspecially if she is to walk into that Great Banquet in Heaven. His Bride shouldn’t walk past His Mother without acknowledging Her & reverencing Her.

His bride should ask His Mother to help find the right wedding garment to wear for Her Son Jesus. If anyone would know what He likes in a “Bride” it would be His Mother, Mary.

I pray that all would be open…to their Spiritual Mother & listen for His Voice when they look at Her…they would begin to see & Hear what He has to say. They would feel the Holy Family completely in a new way!

If Jesus is truly God,…& we believe God’s Word in the Bible, then we would see Mary as God’s Mother & we’d see Mary is Our Mother too.

I always wanted my Mother when I was young. I am so grateful I finally found whom I was yearning for when I called out “mom”,…Mary, The Holy Mother Of God.

Please pray for Her children to come to this understanding & to trust “His” Blessed Mother to hold us…like she held Him in His infant & adolescence years.

May we find Mary at the cross we are to bear & may Our Mother be there too, when we are too taken down & called Home.

In Jesus Name,
AMEN & AMEN !!!

Hail Mary,
Full of Grace,
The Lord is with thee.
Blessed art thou among women,
and blessed is the fruit
of thy womb, Jesus.
Holy Mary,
Mother of God,
pray for us sinners now,
and at the hour of death.
Amen.

Pope Benedict XVI’s prayer intention for the month of June “That through its presence and deeds the Church in north Africa may bear witness to God’s love for every human person and for all peoples”. Comment by Fr. Vito Del Prete, PIME, secretary general of the Pontifical Missionary Union

Vatican City (Fides Service) - The mission of the Churches’ present in the many countries which form the vast region of North Africa is to bear witness to God who is love and who cares for all his children especially the poor and the suffering. It is…

Pope Benedict XVI missionary prayer intention for July: “That all Christians, aware of their missionary dutt, may provide effective help for those involved in the evangelisation of peoples”. Comment by Fr Vito Del Prete, PIME, Secretary general of the Pontifical Missionary Union
