The biggest thing I disagree with in Christianity, is the idea of faith being vital before death. Evangelical believers, often get tagged as believing if a person doesn’t except Christ before death, they go to hell.

Exactly how powerful is a persons very mortal decision going to overcome Christ’s power to save them?

God has given us the ability to choose His help, or not.
His power is NOT diminished because we choose not to let him help us. He is still ABLE to help us, but WILL NOT remove our freedom to choose to accept His help. Your decision has the power to reject God’s help, but not to remove His ability to help.

And on the issue of faith. Faith is used every day. Whether you are religious or not. I have FAITH that when I buy a “Big Mac” at McDonalds that I will NOT receive a tuna sandwich. The reason I have FAITH that this will happen is because every time I have done business with them they have been faithful. And so it is with God. When I hold Him to His promises, he has ALWAYS proved to be FAITHFUL. That is why my faith in Him continues to grow!
