A few years ago, a friend and I started a website with the purpose of spreading the message of Our Lady of Fatima. There are some interesting facts and lessons about Fatima that are rarely talked about.
Pope Benedict XV came into the chair of St. Peter at the beginning of World War I. The Pope tried in every way possible to bring about the end of the war. He even presented his own peace plan but was rejected by Germany. Not finding help here on earth, the Pope petitioned the Catholic faithful throuhout the world to join him in petitioning Our Blessed Mother and asking her help in ending the war. A few days later, Our Lady appeared to three shepherd children in Fatima, Portugal with a peace plan from Heaven. When the Catholic faithful asked Our Lady for help, she heard their prayers. This should be a lesson for all of us. Our Lady gave us two special devotions, devotions to the Holy Rosary and devotion to Her Immaculate Heart. The Catholic world needs to unite and ask Our lady once again for her help to bring about an end to the war. It will not end by human hands.
There is a group of Traditional Catholics in Spokane , Wa who come together every Wednesday and participate in the block Rosary. The block Rosary began by an apparition to a lady in Detroit, Michigan. This lady had 7 brothers involved in World War II. She lost one brother and was afraid to lose another. After attending Sunday Mass, and cooking dinner, she saw a lady all dressed in black. The lady spoke and revealed a message. The message became known as the block Rosary. Every Wednesday at 7:OO P.M. the webcam is turned on and you can unite your prayers with others for this special intention. The website will list the webcam address if you wish to join in.
