I left CAF about a year ago, largely because of my involvement in “discussions” that I became increasingly uncomfortable with, especially in the political arena. I have decided to return but with a different approach, namely not to allow myself to get in any kind of “debate”. IOW, I’ll post what I might believe about whatever and then only deal with serious questions that might be needed for clarification’s sake.

Anyhow, with this approach I hope to enjoy this site as I did before prior to things getting quite out of hand with certain people, including myself. I post this to try and clarify why I left, why I have come back, and what I will and will not do.

Yes, welcome back! I think your posting philosophy sounds like a good one. The rapid back-and-forth on the political threads definitely leads to bickering and heated postings, so avoiding those types of “debate” is the best path towards sanity that I have found. 🙂
 
Welcome back. I typically stick to the games in the Casual forum. Hard to go wrong there! I’ll read other things, but I typically will not comment.
