You realize that the term is not what is important. The term was coined to be able to concisely discuss the concept of the Eucharist being the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Christ which goes back continuously through the 2nd, 1st centuries. Of course from that time forward there are enumerable references. I think the earliest after the Apostles may be Ignatius.
