That the Church had harsh words for Jews (unfortunately) does not go on to support that the Church broadly speaking did not celebrate on Sunday, which is attested to in Scripture, the Didache, and in second century testimony.
BINGO.

Notice also the cherry picked quotes from New Advent, etc. Which site do you think had them right to hand? To paraphrase Iniyo Montoya, ā€œI do not think that these quotes mean what you think they mean.ā€

On a different kind of note --I do understand that the OP is having some doubts and concerns, and for that, I am sorry and sympathize. It is very, very hard sometimes to hold onto belief, and it is so easy, when one hears something that seems to rock the world of faith, to be pushed away when it seems that others are mocking and insulting. So if I seemed mocking or insulting (God knows I can be a witch that way), please forgive me. The last thing I want to do is be the reason that somebody turns from the Lord, thinking, ā€œWell Lord, if SHE is an example of a Catholic, I sure don’t want to be like HER!ā€ Please, please, don’t judge the Catholic faith by the failures of individual Catholics. . .please judge it by the One we attempt to follow, even though we stumble and fail trying to follow Him."
