Not strictly on point, but let me offer a short thought for meditation on each mystery. Often I have found the long expositions usually found on each mystery too, too. In reaction to that, I’ve adopted the following list for meditation/petition based on the Theological virtues and wisdom:
Annunciation: Grant me Faith like Mary’s to act on God’s call.
Visitation: Grant me Faith like Elizabeth’s to see Christ in others as Elizabeth saw Christ in Mary.
Nativity: Grant me Faith like the shepherds to hear God’s word.
Presentation: Grant me Faith like Simeon’s to trust in God’s promise.
Finding the Child in the Temple: Grant me Faith like Mary and Joseph to know when I am separated from Him I can always find Jesus in his holy temple.
Agony in the Garden: Grant me Hope in mental anguish.
Scourging at the Pillar: Grant me Hope in physical pain.
Crowning with Thorns: Grant me Hope in humiliation.
Condemnation to death: Grant me Hope in my walk through this life.
