This is a story about Saint Augustine and his mother, Saint Monica, two saints still well remembered by Catholics today. She is most famous because she prayed and prayed for years that her son, Saint Augustine, would return to the Catholic faith, which then occurred.

I wear a medal of St. Monica and St. Augustine to remind me to pray for my son (and daughter).
