“It Takes a Family – Conservatism and the Common Good” by United States Senator Rick Santorum (R-Pa.) (ISI Books, 464 pages)

You don’t need to read much more than a page or two to understand why “It Takes a Family – Conservatism and the Common Good” has driven Hillary Clinton bonkers.

Full Story
I usually do not buy these types of books, but I may just buy this one.

AMEN!!!
I have been saying this since about a month after the last election…we need to really rally around Santorum if he chooses to run but I am afraid he won’t because he is such a family man and doesn’t want to be seperated from his wife and kids…God bless them, 6 kids and they homeschool!!!

child 7 was severly diabled and born premature a few weeks after his big impassioned speech on the floor re: partial birth aborton ban (“if your 6 year old got cancer would you be right to kill him?!”). it was pretty sad.

A website called ArriveNet has really slammed Rick Santorum arrivenet.com/pol/article.php/669307

Here it quotes ‘Catholics for Faithful Citizenship’ as saying that Teddy Kennedy had a voting record that supported the US Conference of Catholic Bishops but that Santorum’s record was dismal in this regard.

Only one issue was mentioned in the article, the death penalty. For some reason the left tends to twist the Catholic position which has never changed on this. Catholic theologian, Avery Cardinal Dulles, makes this clear.

Aside from that, I find it bizarre that this site and ‘Catholics for Faithful Citizenship’ would claim that Ted Kennedy represents the Catholic Church better than Rick Santorum.

I am willing to work hard to get him elected. We must all remember that it takes time and money to get someone elected to office.

Rick will need slot of people to help him this year for reelection and in 2008. Just might need to keep his foot out of his mouth at times.😉

I would REALLY love a 2008 election pitting Santorum against Hillary! Woohoo! Bring it on! 😃

As far as I’m concerned …No contest…it takes a family Hillary and don’t forget it…hehehheheehe

But it sure would be an interesting race!!!

Rick Santorum was just on the Today Show with Katie Couric…I was really impressed when she let him talk…literally, she kept interupting him…anyway, I think that I am going to buy this book.

Since I am just starting to take notice of this guy…quick question…Is he Catholic?

He is the real deal. Pro-life and all. He comes from the county next to us. They homeschool. LOL the DEMS can’t seem to understand what we see in him.

It turns my stomach to watch Rick Santorum use his religion to help him keep his place in Washington. Good grief. The man is a hypocrite. Some might even say a mental case.

And before you start foaming at the mouth…yes I am Catholic. Yes I am opposed to abortion. Yes I believe in Catholic education., etc. etc.

If YOU care for all those things and the rest of the things Santorum supposedly supports, then support Bob Casey, who will be running against Santorum, in the next election, I sincerely hope. Casey and his entire family have been fighting for all the right things for two generations. Long before Rick Santorum decided to use religion to get to the White House.

Do not be deceived people.

Did anyone see Santorum’s interview with Katie Couric this morning? I was on my way to the gym, and didn’t see all of it, but was enraged by what I did see.

They started out talking about if the pro-life activities of John Roberts would affect his election to the Supreme Court and then moved on to his book. The last part I saw involved Ms. Couric asking if women were upset by his conservative viewpoints!

I cannot stand that woman. The nerve of her! She honestly think’s she’s a gift to American women and speaks for all of us! Talk about a spin sister…

Let Casey take Spectors place next go around.

The Casey name is well known and in some places very loved in PA. I don’t know enough about him to know if he is like his name sake. But, having learned from the past, voting for a name and not a person can be unwise. Will watch Casey for the election after this one.

Also INHO calling people by nasty names is not how you can get your information out and listened to. Reasoning and facts make a better (name removed by moderator)act.:blessyou:

Well, if Santorum’s driven Hillary bonkers… then he most definitely has my support! 😃
