Hello all,

When I was young, perhaps about 11-13 years old, I had the foolish idea of carving a “notch” with a small pocket knife out of every location I went to. I had done this at a church, thinking it was no big deal, that it was funny, etc. Now I am bothered on whether I need to notify the owner/priest of the church. I am not trying to diminish my sin, but I will say that I don’t think it is a big deal. I went back to the church, and I can’t even find the notches I carved, and they were pretty small. Thanks for your help

IMO, what you’ve described isn’t grave matter. So, I don’t think making satisfaction is necessary for what you’ve described, especially after some time has passed. Don’t dwell on the past, move on.
