This thread is a modeled on a thread on another forum I use and it is the singular most popular thread.

Ever wanted to say something but didn’t want to start a whole thread? Ever wanted one thread where everything from Aquinas’ rule that unmarried couples should not touch below the neck, to how frustrated you were with the taco shop you went to? Here it is.

The rules are simple: Say anything.

Usually in October, when the weather changes, I get the feeling of impending doom for a week or two. Seasonal affective disorder?

Anything? Okay, this is one thing that’s been on my mind Since childhood. I have wanted to get married, I want to get married, because I want to have children, and I want to love my wife, it would be kind of messed up just to get married to have children, and I want to have a wife and children, because my dad had a wife and children, and since my father died when I was a child, I want to be able to be the type of father he was, but possibly do it longer. My father died at the age of 45. I was nine. I see my friends, and they’re married they’ve got wives and husbands, and they’ve got kids, and I’m not jealous, I’m actually very happy for them, but that’s kind of a life I want, I want to have a wife, I want to have kids. I do remember my father quite well, and I remember that he was a very good father, and that’s who I want to imitate being a father. I guess that’s all I have to say, well then again I’m on here a lot, so I always have something more to say

Not a problem, but it would have been nice if voice-to-text didn’t change my grammar. (or as or as my phone said before I corrected it, my grandma)

It always makes me look like I lymph cell a word.

Lol! Do I ever know what you mean! I’ve upped vitamin & mineral intake—careful food choices—& am looking into the lights that are supposed to make a huge difference. We had a family doctor who would put almost all his patients under a special light when I was a kid. Have no clue what kind of light it was, but it felt sooo good, and I remember feeling energized by it.

I’m reading Fatima For Today by Fr. Andrew Apostoli, C.F.R.

Learning a lot

Been using Hallow iOS app for free guided lectio divina. Great thing to do every day.

Since you invited, I’ll say five things very few of my online friends know about me. Here we go;

-I don’t care for other people’s children
-I’m told frequently that I have a “radio voice” (like I would never have known that) 🙂
-I’m desperately afraid of flying, stinging insects
-I have virtually no interest in national or international news
-I have never liked the industry I’ve worked in since 1976; hotel and restaurant management

Lawn grass becomes dormant when day time temperatures are 50 Fahrenheit or so and night time temperatures hover around freezing. This is a good time to put the mower away and take out the snow blower and shovels.⛄

Meanwhile in Canada,… we have four more years of winter, and by that I mean Liberal government 😠 💢

My enhanced drivers license or ‘real ID’ arrived with an anti RFID sleeve. Now I can walk or drive into Canada with it for a big chill.
