Does anyone have any experience with the Schoenstatt Movement? I have looked through their websites, read about them here and there, and watched an EWTN program on them.

I live in Canada, so there isn’t a local presence, but I’m interested in learning about them and about their charism.

God bless,

Well, my daughter went to a retreat at their retreat center in Wisconsin last year. It was for pre-teen and teen age girls. The retreat was run completely by nuns (habit-wearing 👍 ). There was Mass each day, Eucharistic Adoration in a beautiful chapel, and everything they did and all of the materials they used were completely orthodox.

We were introduced to this by friends of ours, so I’m not an expert. But, if you are looking for specific kinds of information, I can probably get my hands on it.

I’m looking for all the information that I can. If you could provide me with some, that would be great.

What I’m most interested in is the Movement’s charism, what individuals and families within the Movement do, and how the Movement is structured. There are little explanations of these on websites that I’ve found, but nothing in-depth enough to be satisfying.

Perhaps I’ll have to buy a book on them or something. 😃

Thank-you, and God bless,

Agricola

I brought some pamphlets home last year that could help. They had some general information about the movement, it’s history and charism. I’m still trying to find them :o and will post them or their content (depending on whether they are copyrighted) when I do. Sorry for the delay!
