The Shield...the new season starts Tuesday!

I am very excited to announce that an all new season of the Shield starts Tuesday…is there anyone else here who is addicted to The Shield and cannot wait for it to start either?
 
Ok…I don’t know if it was part of a censorship conspiracy by some of the higher ups on CA or what…but either way, my original post has vanished. I just wanted to know if there was anyone else out there addicted to The Shield and cannot wait until it starts the new season January 10th???
 
Ok…I was wrong…a real man admits when he is wrong…anywho, my original post was moved to the media section or something like that. Sorry. However…I am still excited about The Shield…also, The Sopranos new season starts in March 🙂
 
I thought my husband was the only one who watched this show. I would prefer that he didn’t 😦
 
Hey…why??? It is an excellent drama. Very well thought out with a great plot…better than those cheesy reality shows on today.

It’s probably good but I don’t think it’s a good show for our son to be exposed to. My husband is smiling at me because I told him I had to explain why I prefer him not watch it. 🙂
 
Now…I totally agree about the son being exposed to it…he shouldn’t until he is at a mature enough age for him to be able to view it…but at the same time, your hubby and I are big boys 🙂

Seriously, though, has this show turned to Catholic bashing like ER and Law and Order(my favorite dramas:crying: )have?
 
The who? what starts? Never heard of this show! Exactly what is it about?
 
I love this show and can’t wait for it to start. I actually own the first 4 seasons on DVD. My only gripe with the show is that they wouldn’t say GD so much. Other than that, great show!
 
I thought after Jimmy Smits left NYPD Blue, I would never be into another cop show… but that short stocky bald guy works for me!!! I love THE SHIELD!!!
 
Don’t know this show; no cable. I guess we’ll stick with CSI, CSI NY, CSI Miami, and the new CSI - CSI Baton Rouge.
 
OK - Dums, I’m gonna try it out and see how it is. Don’t let me down! 😃
 
I absolutely love this show…and I really like Michael Chiklis he’s a great actor (short, bald, stalky guy). It is violent and is mostly not appropriate for children, but it’s very real which is why I like it. Very real situations that aren’t solved in an hour…know what I mean? Anyway, I can’t wait for it to start either 😃 👍 !!!
