I have to comment on this one.

China with its abortions and infanticide of mostly female babies will have millions of young men who cannot get married.

This has its own social implication.

Hmm, they could begin with India, another country with millions more males than females.
 
 
The number of children in single-parent homes (or being raised by grandparents) ir being raised in two-parent homes with a lot of conflict is not a single factor. It comes from a multitude of them.
