In John near the end, Christ mentions His ‘Helper’ or sometimes translated, the spirit of truth, this is interesting considering when He is talking to the woman at the well, he says The Father wishes to be worshiped in spirit and truth. Is the Holy Spirit necessarily The Helper; After all they are mentioned in different areas with different titles? Christ says The Helper doesn’t act on his own authority, but will serve Christ and lead us closer to God. I wonder if it is the Holy Spirit or if it is something else which will come later, perhaps during the end times; after all, the world’s various views of God are confusing, and if the Helper were around, maybe it wouldn’t be as confusing.
