Being in a Catholic college I wonder what has become of the good old days. When my college has mass on Sunday it is in a chapel because only 30 people attended out of a school of 3500 students. Plus I feel like campus ministry just isn’t making any headway to change it. anyone have similar experience?

My niece used to attend a Catholic college near where I live. She told me the on-campus chapel has two student-only services on Sunday (the rest being open to everyone). There is one student-only service quite late in the evening, maybe 9 or 10 pm, and she said when she attended Manresa, they told her it was usually packed.

I had gone up one year to help her get set up in her dorm, and was invited as part of the family orientation to attend a Mass, but unfortunately had a prior obligation. She’s no longer there, so I have no reason to travel to the area anymore. (She never attended one as she isn’t Catholic.)
