I’m worried about some of the suicidal people I work with tonight.

If you feel inspired please pray for them. And for my brother who took his life 18 years ago.

Lord Jesus Christ we ask that you help everyone who is suicidal.
Guide then so that they may receive the help that they need.
Protect them.
Prevent them from dying by suicide.
We need them. We love them.
Let them feel our love, and your love, Lord Jesus.
Lord, we ask that you comfort the suicide survivors.
Remind them that they are very special people.
Remind them that they are heroes.
Fill their minds with beautiful memories of their loved ones.
Provide them with everything that they need Lord.
Ease their pain.
Give them hope.
Give them comfort.
Give them guidance.
Help them heal, and help them in every way possible.
Let them feel our love, and your love, Lord Jesus.
Lord we pray for those who have committed suicide.
We pray that they are with you, now Lord.

Prayers said that the suicidal will be made well with medical intervention if necessary and see a glimmer of Hope from God before they take decide on the desperate act of ending their lives. May they see the future may not be so bleak as they perceive. May they receive emotional support.

May your brother rest in peace and perpetual light shine upon him.

Your question makes me think that when one is suffering one is never really alone in that. Although it seems like it sometimes that we suffer alone. But, because we all suffer at some time in our lives we can share suffering in common. Right now someone else is suffering with the same thing you are. So in a sense you are together in that suffering.
 
god bless all those battling the demons of depression and suicidal thoughts, may there guardian angels keep them safe and help them find a way out of the dark place they find themselves in ,Amen

Prayer to St. Raphael for Those Contemplating Suicide

Holy Archangel Raphael, appointed by God to guide, protect and heal, I entrust to you all people who at this moment are contemplating suicide.

You guided young Tobias on his journey and protected him from the spirit of death which sought to destroy his life. I ask you to protect all people from the road which leads to physical and spiritual death, especially those in most danger of despair and suicide.

Just as you led Tobias by the hand, lead them away from the sadness of addiction, to peace and joy. O Holy Raphael, whose name means, “God has healed,” bring them the Lord’s healing.

Lord God, hear the prayer I make together with your faithful servant Raphael.

Loving Lord, in Your mercy please protect those who feel life is no longer bearable. Grant them Hope and fill them with the grace of Your love, so that the agony of their despair will be lifted from them. Let them feel that Your love is all around them, shielding them and that with Your help they will be able to carry on.
