The Susan Thompson Buffett Foundation: how to get solid information?

The Buffett Foundation is a huge supporter of research and public advocacy associated with abortion, contraception, and population control.

According to this 2015 piece from Bloomberg, one former director said, “Buffett alone will give more than all of the other foundations combined in reproductive health.”

Does anyone know how to get a systematic accounting of the foundation’s activities, even for just one year?
 
Such information is usually difficult to come by. May I ask why you wish to have this information? “Systematic accounting” data is usually closely held.

There are pretty much two 800 pound gorillas in research on abortion and contraception: Guttmacher and the Buffett Foundation. Guttmacher is pretty open, but Buffett is not. I have seen then acknowledged for quite a few studies, but don’t know how broad their reach actually is. Since they’re the top funding organization in that arena, I figured that it’s important to know about it!
