OK, so you worship Swaminarayan, a man living 250-some years ago who is held by his followers to be God incarnate in a similar manner as we hold Jesus Christ to be God incarnate.

I’ve always been fascinated by the plethora of different deities worshipped under the umbrella of Hinduism. How on earth does any Hindu choose which of them to worship?

What, for example, drew you to Swaminarayan in particular?
