Is it good for 7.5 year olds?
I’m not sure. The X-Files was a pretty awesome show, especially the first few seasons, but for a 7.5 year old? Mmmm, methinks it could mean nightmares for quite some time. “Tooms” alone would probably have them refusing to sleep alone for months!

😃

Yes, the truth is out there, and the truth is Christ. Trust no one but Christ.

I loooooove the X-Files.

But it’s not a kid’s show.

Put on the Lego Movie and sing along to “Everything is Awesome!” 😃

Loved the X-Files too…but absolutely not for 7.5 year olds.

I was 14 years old when I started getting into X-Files. I think that is a bit on the young side…looking back.

Even some of the more tame episodes aren’t “family friendly”.

OP, your post is very vague…is this what you meant to ask?

Are you asking if X-Files is appropriate television watching for a 7 year old?

Um, no.

Is there some reason you are unable to judge this for yourself?

I’m talking about that graphic novel that’s sold at the bookstore. My Godson’s into comics. I don’t get the X Files refernce

Well obviously WE didn’t get what YOU were talking about!!!

“The truth is out there” is the running theme of the X-Files, that’s where that phrase comes from.

Looks like someone has taken that and made a Catholic graphic novel. It appears to be geared to older folks, not 7 years olds. Although there look to be some others that are geared to younger Catholics.

It is not listed under “Children’s Resources” as are some other the other Manga/Graphic Novel titles at Catholic Answers.

I would like to add some parental warning against Asian/Japanese ‘comics’, manga, etc. A missionary I knew who spent time in Japan explained that comic book shops there are not KID-friendly. Many of their ‘comics’ contain $exu@lly graphic images.
