Not sure if this is the right forum or not, but anyone watching the Ken Burns PBS Special on the Vietnam War ?

I’ve been watching ever episode with enthusiasm.

I enlisted in the Marines in 1970, but the war was ending for the Marines and ended up staying in Okinawa.

I became opposed to the war over time after I left the Marines and learned more about it.

However, the reality of what this film shows, makes me ashamed for what our nation did to those people.

We were lied to by LBJ and especially Westmorland.

McNamara saw success of the war according to body count, more of them dead than Americans meant success.

Anyway, I highly recommend it, especially for those who still think the US was winning the war.
