Ironic that the progenitors and custodians of the English language (i.e. their own language) should be so willing to butcher it. Why not get rid of the words altogether? I’d say it’s a sick joke, only it’s beyond sick and not very funny…at all.

What the government really needs to change is the word “marriage’” now that it doesn’t resemble marriage any more. How about civil union, domestic partnership, or maybe even “The Cat in the Hat.” That way, the spouses could be called “Thing One and Thing Two.”

“Progenitor A” and “progenitor B” still make no sense because to “generate” new life requires a male and female. Thus they are by definition the mother and father.

It matters not whether they are married, whether they baby was conceived by frankenstein lab methods, or whether the adults involved have a homosexual orientation.

Biology tells us what they are called. It’s amazing that those who claim to be so tolerant and logical are totally violating those principles by shrouding the truth in stupid, meaningless terms.

Wonder if they will do the same for father/mother? Sickening.
Not for me they’re not. I will always use the terms and will never conform to psychotic ideas that society has come up with and will come up with in the future.
👍 Me too.
Who gets to be Progenitor A?

Just wait until the methods are perfected to fertilize an egg with the DNA of another egg…then there will be just “Progenitor” and “(husband or wife) of progenitor”.

Pray for the next generation who will have battles with Secular Humanism that my generation never conceived of having. Growing up in the 60s/70s, I knew that there were homosexual people, but never in my worst nightmare thought we’d have State-sanctioned same sex “marriage”, two gay men hiring a surrogate to carry “their” children, etc., etc.

Just when you think you’ve heard the worst, it gets “worser”. I’ve always thought that America is showing similarities to the Roman Empire, and look how that turned out.

I live in Massachusetts where activists not happy enough that they made SSM legal, recently they were victorious ilwith regard to the words mother and father. Now schools can’t use the words mother and father instead now is guardian a, guardian b, guardian c and guardian d. My sister in law was so aggravated because school sent her a form to update info that had four pages for guardian a,b , c and d to fill up the entire info of each one per page(that you are not supposed to left in blank) because not only is a waste of time but there are no children in the schools that would fit in that condition as it is a.suburb with a large traditional catholic population. She says parents were quite upset. I think is beyond ridiculous, now because there are a few SSM.with children in the state, the 95% of.kids with a mother and a father has to live by the rule of a few. Beyond crazy. She was wondering to be annoying if she should put herself as guardian d, me as b (as I frequently babysit her kids, pick them up from school etc), the grandma as guardian a, and her husband as guardian c lol

Why the surprise?

When the words true and false, good and bad, are redefined…why the surprise here?
