Okay so i have a question. If you listen to a song or watch a documentary on youtube, is it theft if it was not posted by the original composer or creator? Because technically you are streaming pirated material or maybe not? Give me your thoughts!

Copyright holders know about these services and how to take a video down if they want it down.

What is it with all of these youtube questions? Is YouTube paying people to post their name for publicity?

This. Copyright is complicated law, and not every rights holder wants to enforce the rights they have under the law. If the rights holder doesn’t want it up there, they can use the YouTube process to remove it. It’s not something individual watchers who happen on some video should have to worry about.

Youtube has some of the strictest and most onerous copyright reporting systems around. If it’s on there you are fine.

You have previously been advised that the best place to resolve your scrupulous compulsions is with your Confessor.
If you don’t already have one, please seek a Spiritual Director. Posting questions on a message board and getting advice from random people will not help you. May God bless you.
Posting on CAF to amateurs is hardly going to offer you better advice.

Please take control of yourself and follow this standard advice for the scrupulous.

Scrupulosity is simply the religious form of the psychological disorder obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). It has nothing to do with right or wrong, or God. If you become an atheist you will continue to have intrusive thoughts and rumination. You need a psychologist. An informed spiritual counsellor will tell you this.
