I dispise neologisms, so I did a doubletake when a buddy of mine directed me to observe the calligraphy and illumination of the following manuscript:

theosophical.org/society/index.html

at first I thought it was an unfamiliar medeival work, then I realize its just a front for a cult which is trying to look authentic and valid.

Is anybody out there familiar with the so-called world theosophical society?

Theosophy dates back to around 1875, founded by a certain Madame Blavatsky, Russian, immigrated to America. It’s not a personality-driven community like that of Jim Jones or David Koresh; it’s more like a society that attempts to synthesize the spiritual teachings of the West and of the East. It is a major inspiration for much of New Age thought.

New Age is correct. Astrology, reincarnation, higher planes of being, expanded consciosness, we all are God, pantheism, UFO’s and other nut cake things. If you like your life guided by the demons out of hell, go New Age! Satin will love you.
