Theosis Media is a relatively new website. The gentleman who founded it is very passionate about positive ecumenical relationships between Catholics and Orthodox, and about reunion of the two Churches.
In addition to my own blog, I was also invited to be a contributor to Theosis Media. I am currently writing under the channel “Hymn of Light.” My portion of the website is to reflect on the current liturgical texts and traditions of the Roman Church and the various Eastern and Oriental Churches in order to find the common themes throughout that Apostolic traditions. Just as the main theme of the website is “In drawing closer to Christ, we draw closer to one another,” I wanted to point out that “In drawing closer to Christ, specifically in the Eucharist, we draw closer to one another.”
Please do check out the website. Ask questions. Leave comments. There is a lot of great stuff there, and it has a lot of potential, so long as folks find us and get involved.
