Peace Brothers and sisters. I haven’t posted here in a while but I’d like some perspective. To train myself to evangelize, I’ve tried to learn the position of the opposition.
I found this playlist to be a very good start. How does one evangelize someone who has this true issues?
Jokes aside, I don’t know the reason for the ban, but there is a reason. Anyways the best thing for us is to become more learned in the Sacred Tradition and in the Gospel, because a lot of these arguments against God will be like intricate mazes of words which some have built and lost themselves into. By keeping simple and looking straight into the heart of Christ, we will show that God is like the light that shines through that maze and the only way out of it.
Before engaging in conversations about God with non-believers, make sure they have at least some kind of openness to the truth, otherwise you’re pretty much wasting your time and risk losing your peace. How would I know, you ask? “Shake the dust off your sandals.” Don’t give your pearls to swine.
Many of them like to use the argument that a book " the Bible" isn’t proof of anything. They claim other ancient writings on other dieties could be just as true as the Bible and that neither can be proven. I don’t think it matters what argument you use because they are not going to believe no matter what.
Blind faith is not proof to them and saying the Bible proves it just makes them laugh because no one can prove its real, just have faith that it is.
