They are selling agnus deis on ebay

I am always horrified when I see things like this…When you buy a sacramental the blessing is not transferable

They claim they come with documents…I would never trust this kind of thing…It would be very easy to forge them…I can’t imagine people selling this kind of thing…If I owned something of this nature and didn’t want it ,I would either give it to someone who would treasure it, or burn and bury it

Don’t know what you are talking about…what is an agnus dei besides Latin for “Lamb of God”? It sounds like they are selling the “lamb of God” on ebay…which would be the eucharist in my way of thinking.
So there must be another meaning of the phrase that I am not aware of…please enlighten me.

It refers to a sacramental that used to be employed previously, and is named because of the figure of the Lamb of God in wax impressed on it. See the old Catholic Encyclopedia entry

How interesting. Thank you very much for your reply. What I enjoy most about CAF is learning new things about my faith, the customs, traditions and Traditions…it is such a deep and rich subject! Always something more to learn.
