They're bringing back Daria...Perhaps life in the US will be happy again

I loved this show. I thought the critique on American culture was great. They presciently ended the show before 9/11. Not sure how it relates to Catholicism, but I’m quite certain Daria eventually converts and becomes Catholic.

She reminds me of my best friend in high school in personality and appearance. My friend was a devout Christian, a bit anti-Catholic and I was atheist but we got along well.

Then I reread it and sighed in relief. Humanity will continue.
