My NAB is thinner than regular notebook paper but I think it’s thinner than some Bible paper.

The official Bishops Conference version of the NAB have really nice, thick pages actually.

Can’t speak for the NAB, but I just bought a hardcover DR for $35 that has awesomely thick pages!
I don’t care if the Bible is bulky. Don’t like see-thru tissue paper pages!

I have long used black ink to underline select passages (which produces an indentation in the thin pages) and I selectively use a yellow highlighter for extra special passages (which does have some bleed through).

Anathema!
Holding a paper bible in your hand is an utterly different experience than reading a bible electronically… At least in my experience and opinion.
