Hey!
I can’t make mass tommorow for family reasons which is quite annoying.

Do you have any ideas for things to do?

I’m praying all the normal prayers I do throughout the day (rosary, divine mercy chaplet, angelus) can anyone think of anything else?

Thanks and God Bless 🙂

The OP is 13.

If there is no way to attend Mass, there is no way to attend Mass. The Church doesn’t require the impossible.
So sorry! I was attempting a good humor joke (perhaps in bad taste) but didn’t realize the OP was young.

To the OP: I’m truly sorry. Your ideas though are lovely. If possible, attempt to watch on ETWN. They will have the Mass online.

God Bless

Can you pick up Mass on EWTN tv or radio?

Perhaps you can follow a live stream of the Liturgy through your computer.

Don’t forget a dose of Catholic Answers Live ;:

You can also tap into the Liturgy of the Hours at Universalis.

And don’t forget to pick a homily for mediation:
dailyhomilies.org/p/feasts.html?m=1
and/or

And the Daily Meditations of Pope Francis:

Try to commemorate the day with a simple joy: leaf rubbings, candle decorating, making a corner table shrine, press a flower into a book. 🙂

I’m going to start a 54 days Rosary Novena starting today Feast of Assumption and end on the feast of Our Lady of Rosary 😃

Just some idea 😛

You can make an act of Spiritual Communion (i.e. a short prayer asking Jesus to give you the grace of communion with him). While not a sacrament, it does bring real grace to the one who prays.

Spiritual Communion is available to any person who is unable to presently receive sacramental Communion, whether they are at Mass or not. You could make an act of Spiritual Communion after saying the Rosary at home, while walking to school, or anywhere you happen to be.
