I like thin Bibles. Does anyone know a website where I can get a thin Catholic Bible?

The thinnest one I know is the RSV-Catholic Edition from Ignatius Press. It’s hard to smash all those words into a really “thin” book.

This is the version I have right now – I have the little leather-zipper case version.

Good news: It is extremely compact! The leather case is nice. Has a Miraculous Medal attached to the zipper

Bad News: the type is very very tiny and if you have middle-aged eyes it can be a bit of a problem! Thank goodness for cheap “cheater” glasses!

Practical considerations make it nearly impossible to print a thin Catholic edition of the Bible.

Former canons and other Church laws, as well as long-standing custom, are against printing a text-only vernacular version of the Bible without explanatory notes.
