I’m interested in learning more about the different third orders. What are the charisms that each religious order emphasizes?

Thanks!

It might be good to contact your vocation’s office in you parish or diocese (if there is).

I do not know why you are asking but if it is for the purpose of vocational discernment I personally do not think proper discernment can be done online. You might need a personal guide and spiritual director. I will be praying for you.

Benedictine oblates are lay men and women (including married and singles) who live a contemplative life of seeking God. That charism, seeking God, is pursued in a life of following the Rule of Saint Benedict written about 530 AD. Benedictine spirituality includes a balance of prayer and work, thus appealing to many who live in the world.

If you have any questions, please let me know.
