so i read all of the threads from yesterday and I am SOOOO thankful that there are others out there with our dilema! She did better today. last night she was in bed a 7:50pm and fell asleep at about 8:40. we read two short stories, talked and said our bedtime prayer. i’m going to try to encourage this exact routine every night. I have always gotten her clothes, lunch, etc ready the night before so that will continue. last night was gymnastics as well, so she doesn’t get home from that until 7:45 (i know- i wish there was an earlier class available). i think she needed a little time to wind down from that. on the way to school this morning i suggested we try to get into bed even earlier tonight. we’ll see how it goes! twk

Baby steps. One thing at a time.

Night One complete.🙂 On to Night Two…

**Yay! Hearing other people get relief from sleep issues warms my heart:) (and makes me a wee bit jealous, but we won’t tell anyone;)).

Hopefully you can get to the point, the sweet spot, where it only takes about 20 mins to fall asleep. She may never be a morning person, but you should be able to help her not be such a cranky and stubborn non-morning person:D**

If you find that magic pill, would you please let me know so I can take it:o I’m just awful in the morning! I’m trying. I even packed my hubby’s lunch today and put in some chocolate kisses for him:love: Normally I hide in the other room. I was getting up about an hour before everyone else so I could have some quiet time before the morning crazies started, but he gets up at 5:30 to work out:eek: and I’m not getting up at 4:30!!!
