This HDO/Saturday

I am facing juggling my hellions…er…my children alone for this HDO AND Sunday Masses. We only have a mission church to attend within 70 miles of us and I spoke to the priest today about when they are offering the HDO Mass. He said that he isn’t because he is split between 4 missions and is seeking a dispensation if he can’t get a retired priest to come help with the Masses.

Does this dispense me from the HDO or must I seek another Mass farther away?
 
It sounds like you’d be dispensed to me! 70 miles is a long way, not to mention further!
 
No Mass = no obligation

You are not expected to do the impossible.
