Click, and then watch the video of the eucharistic procession through the streets of New York. That is one of the most incredible things I have ever seen, and watching it makes me want to be the person doing that. What a powerful and moving video.
 
Yes, I’ve seen that video. It is one of my favorites. Right next to Fishers of Men 👍
 
To become a priest of catholicism is to openly support and swear your allegience to all that catholicism stands foor, has stood for and will stand for. I ask you to take that into consideration and remember that catholicism, like everything else, has its good side and dark side.

And through history’s example, catholicism has a VERY dark side.

However, if you go to break this trend and shatter the evil, then you have my support, just don’t join the innumerable horde of bigots, rapists, murderers, corrupt officials, liars, and most commonly of all: thieves.
 
Yes, the film is well done and is moving. And it was nice to hear you know who’s voice again, too. 🙂
 
Very well done. I think more public displays like that and seeing clergy and Catholic faith in a positive dynamic light will enhance vocations.

Someone mentioned once (think it was a Priest in the Charismatic Episcopal Church) that Roman Catholic clergy need to be see nore in clerical garb (same with Nuns). Don’t hide from view. It is an advertisement for vocations.

Thank you, God, for bringing yourself as Jesus to us! Thank you for giving me the ability to experience HIm in the Eucharist, and in the most Blessed Sacrament!! I love you!

I pray each day for men to hear the call to the priesthood. I can’t name the number of priests that have been a vessel for our Lord to change my life profoundly. We need more priests!

I think the Church needs these women just as much as it needs priests.

By the way, that “God in the Streets of New York Video” was great!

It definitely helped me to strenghten my discernment to the priesthood.

Could you imagine what would happen if every parish across North America decided to show this video after or during Sunday masses? Vocations would skyrocket!

Even better, imagine every parish in the nation doing a eucharistic procession on the same day. 😃 Unrealistic I know, but to imagine it is certainly incredible.

I have to say that I love Father Benedict as well. What an incredibly wise, well-spoken, and motivating man - a true man of God.
