I’ve actually found the opposite in my environment. My three sisters/brother in laws were Protestants who converted at the time of or after marrying into our family. One of the things they were most leary of was the home Masses. My uncle and cousin are both Priests so it has been standard in our family to have home Masses for special occasions. Some Protestants are somewhat scared of what they have been told is a pagan ritual basically and this seems to be a big cause of the criticism and caution about getting too close to Catholics. Thankfully, my SILs and BIL very quickly realised that the Mass was not as scary as they thought.
