This might be a silly prayer

Hi all! I just wanted to ask for a prayer on my blogging journey. I have done blogging before and I really enjoy it.
As a means to improve my overall health and fitness, I started blogging about my journey to living healthy. Today, I actually bought my own domain for my blog (sweetreliefblog.com).
I just want prayers that if it’s meant to succeed - it will!
I am very excited about it as I’ve typically only used free blogging websites, but now I am trying to turn my blog into something more serious.
I feel as if my personal health and fitness experiences might inspire others to make an effort towards becoming the healthy people God intended us to be!

You bet your dupa that’s a good thing to pray for. It’s a GREAT thing to pray for! And…it is biblical! You’re supposed to pray for the Lord’s Blessing and Guidance in every venture so you’re in great company. God be with you and guide you and make His Will for others known through you and your blog.

You bet your dupa that’s a good thing to pray for.

I once saw a license plate that had a Polish flag and said “blah blah blah dupa”, so I asked my Polish priest what “dupa” meant… and he laughed and said “Who called you that!”

**I wish to add a HUGE disclaimer for my “dupa” comment. It variously means, in context, something like “rear end” in Polish - for us nice folks . For example, the phrase “You bet your dupa I’m Polish” isn’t exactly nice, but isn’t vulgar.

There are, however, other interpretations of that word which I recently discovered and I apologize if anyone mistook my meaning. I’ve heard the word since I was a kid in Detroit (Hamtramck) over 40 years ago and it NEVER meant anything nasty as far as I knew**

Also…dupa is hardly a vulgar or inappropriate word for those of us who are Polish!

I remember all too often being told to sit on my “dupa” when I was a child. Or to behave or else “I’ll beat your dupa!”

Hahaha…great use of some Polish for us all
