Since there are so many complaints, I’m going to make a deal.

From now on, when I make a thread or post, I will only respond to the first person who responds to me. That way we can cut out a few things.
  1. People complaining about me not answering their questions.
    2"Abandoning threads"
    3…and so.
The only way I wont respond is if you take the conversation to a personal level, attack, negative comments, and most importantly YOU DON’T USE SCRIPTURE.

This way I can talk to you if you have something to say to me.

Also, if you want to talk to me and I am responding to someone else, send me a pm to let me know.

Another thing I would like for you all to realize is that, 1 person can barely respond to 6 people at a time in one thread.

But, hon, what you propose isn’t posting threads on a forum. . .that’s engaging in one-to-one dialogue (for which we have things like PM).

The whole NATURE of a thread is that many people can come in and respond. I know it can be tiresome to have ‘6 people’ come on, but that is the nature of the process. The way to deal with it (if one is the OP of a thread) is to take the time and effort to go back through one’s own thread and to respond, one by one, citing the post number, and making it clear that one is doing so in order to respond to people.

TWO threads concentrating on you?!!! Donald Trump called. He wants you to be less egomaniacal.

I understand completely what you are saying and I completely agree. I have openly invited MANY to have a one on one conversation whether by pm or by email and so on. They have refused and that is completely okay. But when those same people ask a question and claim that I have ignored them when I honestly did not answer the question for those reasons, thats when it becomes a problem.

I don’t think it is fair that I invite them to ask all the questions they want and they refuse, but in the forum they claim that I ignore them. I would love to have conversations with everyone, but 6 people 6 different conversations is too much.

I have to admit, a couple of people I have chosen to ignore, because of statements that have been made. But others, I really would like to talk to.

If you start a conversation in an open forum, then that is where the discussion should take place.

It really isn’t a difficult process to understand.

Let’s look at it this way. You started a thread "Only Christ:. Correct?

Compare posting that thread here with walking into a crowded room and making the same attempt. Do you think only one person will respond? Do you think only one person should respond? Do you think that one person (whom you choose) should pull you off to the side privately to discuss it?

Seems rather illogical doesn’t it?

Sweetie, you really should stop making such overbearing rules. We do not all follow your threads, and unless you type these rules at the top of every post, it’s not gonna happen.

Praying for Our Lady to change your heart to fill it with love and not hate. There’s a big difference between turning over the tables at a temple and lashing out at people in order to incite an argument. Whatever your goal, your current method isn’t working.

God bless,
Ljubim (it means love in Slovenian. You should try making love the focus of your daily life, love comes from God; hatred and provocation come straight from hell.)

You do not make the rules. You follow the rules of this forum. You post a question or statement and then we post answers/comments to your post. You do not answer questions via email or PM and likewise we do not email or PM you. This is an OPEN forum. You cannot make multiple threads that you can not possibly maintain so you should only start threads that you can handle.

And we won’t respond to you if YOU DON’T QUOTE PAPAL ENCYCLICALS. Sound like a plan? 😉

Yours in Christ
Joe
