We don’t often hear about “modesty” clothing requirements for muslim men. It will be interesting to see how the male population in Iran reacts to this.

Perhaps such draconian measures will garnish a little more empathy from men towards their wives, sisters, daughters, and push them to puruse greater rights for women.

We can only pray and live in hope.

However, the cynical part wonders if this is just a ploy for hair dressers to make more money, if a man isn’t allowed to have shaggy locks he’s gotta hand over his cash to someone “skilled in the ways of follicle modesty”.

I really think it’s for real. Remember, the idea is to remain unshaven and with moderately short hair. Look at the taliban nutcakes.
