I know that there is no charge, except for the reservation fee and that a donation is accepted to cover charges. My question is, who pays for it? Does the diocese, sort of like an outreach program? The couples offering it?

I suspect it works very much like Cursillo…they give you the money talk, and you give what you can. I know a friend of mine totally cleaned out his checking account since he’d had a VERY good experience. With ME, my hubby and I gave what they asked for, making payments since it would have killed us to do it up front. It seems like stuff like this, it always evens out. Some people give loads, others only a little, but it seems to work.
