I have been working on a Dead Sea Scrolls manuscript, it is a Septuagint manuscript of the Minor Prophets. I have gotten some done. I am lining the manuscript (8HevXIIgr) up with the traditional reading of the Septuagint and providing a linked lexicon to the variant readings so you can easily compare. I’m wondering If I can get a bit of support from a Greek - Bible Scholar.
I am in a discussion in another thread with a mormon who made the statement, to the effect, that Jesus coined the term “Apostle” and that it did not mean then what it means now (one who is sent).

I’m quite certain that since Jesus likely spoke aramaic that He did not use the greek term “Apostle” in the first place, but what I would like to have is some documented proof of the term “Apostle” being in use at or before the time of Christ, and it’s meaning/usage at that time.

I’d appreciate any assist.
